Scientific Name: Pomatomus saltatrix

 

Product Description: Blue Fish is an oily fish with mild flaky meat, it is a favourite fish among locals. The best eating size is 200-400 grams, but larger fish are great to smoke.  Larger specimens (those over 4kg) tend to have a stronger flavour.

 

Processing: Available, whole or filleted

 

Season: August to May
